Recipe for Turmeric & Ginger Smoothie

Turmeric is a great anti-inflammatory agent and can help us manage our pain, for more info on Turmeric, read my blog on how Turmeric can be of benefit to us. Try this ginger, carrot & turmeric smoothie to help get you through the day!

Ingredients (serves 1):

1 medium carrot
1/2 large ripe banana
1/2 cup pineapple
1 tsp fresh ginger (peeled)
1/4 tsp ground turmeric
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 cup almond milk
1 cup filtered water
A handful of ice cubes

Method: Blend until smooth. Drink immediately.
